#90909 First day of the new term after the sit-in. Lucy Craig, photography student, had been expelled but returned and insisted she be allowed in. She was re-instated. 30th September 1968 The sit-in was the longest ever at a UK education establishment and led directly to students being on the boards of all establishments today.
