Kids would come after school and be expected to work hard. Occasionally, they would have bits of filming to do for the BBC etc.. Some went on to have careers in the industry and a few became household names: Pauline Quirke, Phil Daniels, Kathy Burke, Gary and Martin Kemp, Dexter Fletcher and Linda Robson.
