Reunion at The Bluecoat, Liverpool in 2017, of John Ord with some of his 'kids' after 46 years at the opening of an exhibition of photographs by John Walmsley taken at the Liverpool Free School in 1971. Also known as the Scotland Road or Scottie Road Free School it was founded and run as an alternative to normal school by two teachers, John Ord and Bill Murphy, who worked with the kids and provided somewhere to go and interesting things to do. They had begged and borrowed an old building, desks, books and an old ambulance for trips.
