They took the kids on a trip to North Wales to visit an old castle, some caves and to walk in the hills, Liverpool Free School, Liverpool 1971. Also known as the Scotland Road or Scottie Road Free School it was founded and run by two teachers, John Ord and Bill Murphy, who worked with the kids and provided somewhere to go and interesting things to do. They begged and borrowed an old building, desks, books and an old ambulance for trips.
